16th August - Farmer Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly announces all-time ODI and Test India XI; names himself in both. Recently Former world 1983 winning captain kapil dev announced is all-time ODI list and named MS Dhoni as captain.According to a report on NDTV, S Ganguly named himself as opener alone with Sachin Tendulkar in odi format, in tests he named G Viswanath as alterenative spot. S Ganguly also included Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble as the only two spinners in the Test squad. R Dravid named as 12th man for ODI squad and VVS Laxman as 12th man for Test format.
Sourav Ganguly mentioned MS Dhoni name in both ODI & Test squad but didnt mention anyone as captain.The other youngster to figure in Ganguly's ODI team is Virat Kohli. The Delhi star's growing stature in international cricket is being noticed by the game's pundits and hasn't escaped Ganguly's attention.
