Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic ‘M.S.Dhoni – The Untold Story’ history took the country by storm after hitting the theatres on September 30. The much-anticipated biopic lived up to its expectations and collected a net amount of Rs 125 crore in the domestic market by the end of the second week.
The Neeraj Pandey directed flick covers India’s most decorated skipper’s journey from an ordinary boy to one of the biggest cricket stars of the world. While there is no denying the fact that Dhoni’s huge popularity across the nation is a huge factor in the film’s success, one cannot deny the contributions of the actors. The motivational crux of the movie has been very well complimented by the brilliant acting. And one such actress who has left a lasting impression on the fans is Disha Patani. She plays the role of Dhoni’s late girlfriend Priyanka Jha’s role in the movie. Though she played a small role in the flick, she has left the audience awestruck.
And according to the actress, MS Dhoni’s wife liked her role very much in the movie. When asked about Dhoni’s reaction on her role, she said that he did not say anything as due to his shy character.
As quoted in the Indian Express, she said: “Dhoni is very shy and reserved so, he does not say anything… But his wife, Sakshi, talks a lot and is very adorable. She told me that she liked me in the film and she was very happy to see me. I am sure Dhoni also liked me.”
