Kohlis captaincy in danger

KOHLI'S CAPTAINCY IN DANGER

It seems even stars and planets are  hell-bent to see Ravichandran Ashwin becoming a legend of the game. The Indian spinner has been wreaking havoc on the pitch with his off-spins in the last couple of years. He played a pivotal role in the recently-concluded Test series where his 27 wickets in only three matches helped India to defeat the visitors by 3-0. He also became the second quickest bowler to take 200 wickets in Tests
The way he is shattering records after almost every passing series, fans and pundits have tipped him for greatness and now renowned scientific astrologer Greenstone Lobo has predicted the same fate for the spinner by claiming that the bowlers will achieve some milestones that would be tough to replicate. The astrologer predicted that the Tamil Nadu spinner will go on to surpass Harbhajan Singh’s tally of 417 wickets in Tests but might fall short of Anil Kumble’s tally of 619 wickets. Although the astrologer predicted that the current number one bowler in Test has a strong possibility of crossing the 500-wicket mark in Tests.

Writing in his column for DNA, Lobo said:” His strong planets indicate that he will continue to do the same en route to his 300, 400 and 500 wickets as well. Chances are high that the 30-year-old will continue to play cricket at the highest level till 2023-24.”
“The off-spinner from Tamil Nadu has his Uranus, Planet-X and Planet-Z in exaltation simultaneously, which makes him really special. Despite the disadvantage of starting late in Test cricket – at the age of 25 compared to 18 of Harbhajan Singh and 20 of Anil Kumble and Muttiah Muralitharan – Ashwin has been the fastest to reach 50, 100, 150 and 200 wickets,”quoted the astrologer.
Predicting about his career stats, the astrologer said:“In the final analysis, while he will definitely surpass Harbhajan’s tally of 417 Test wickets, Ashwin may fall short of Kumble’s 619. But his feats will be a notch higher than all other spinners, for he would have taken those wickets in lesser number of Test matches and in fewer playing years,” cites Lobo.
Lobo also said that Ashwin might become the best spin all-rounder of all time.
“Ashwin will probably become the best spin all-rounder of all time. Expect him to score a few more Test centuries, as well as top the charts in the shorter formats as well,” Lobo added.
Continuing his interesting predictions, Lobo predicted that the bowler might lead any IPL team in the future and also backed him to lead the national team too.
“The Chennai lad’s captaincy skill is another area that the world is yet to discover. Expect some smart IPL team to make him their captain and reap rich rewards. Just like Kumble, this engineer may even get a chance to lead India at some point of the team’s transition,” he concluded.
